THE TYPE OF HOSPITAL BILLING SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 years of hospital medical billing experience
- Coding and billing certification
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing procedures, insurance claims, and reimbursement practices
- Proficiency in healthcare billing systems and software
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with accuracy
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR HOSPITAL BILLING SPECIALIST
This is a full-time or part-time, in-office position with regular hours from Monday through Friday. You'll enjoy a consistent daytime schedule, allowing you to balance your career and personal life.
You will ensure seamless and accurate processes for our hospital-based services. Each day, you will review patient information, verify insurance coverage, and manage claims from submission to resolution. Utilizing systems like Genius Solutions and MediMobile, you'll generate reports, address discrepancies, and ensure compliance with insurance and healthcare protocols. You will also follow up with insurance providers, handle appeals, and communicate with physicians, patients, and insurers to resolve any inquiries. Staying updated on industry regulations will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our revenue cycle.
