Job Description: A facility in Rome, NY is looking for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient health in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients on health management, and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies promptly. Focus on patient advocacy and delivering compassionate care to promote recovery and well-being.
Required Experience/Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience
Required Lic/Certs: New York State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS; NIH Stroke certification is required before start. An additional 8 hours of CEUs will need to be completed as part of facility orientation
Unit: 14 beds ER and 4 Minor Treatment; Nurse-patient ratio 4:1
Charting: T-system
Shift: Days (7:00 am - 7:30 pm), Every other weekend and holiday
Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Package Breakdown
- Taxable Wages Per Hour: $34.00
- Taxable Wages Per Week: $1,124
- Non-Taxable Housing Per Week: $770.00
- Non-Taxable MI&E Per Week: $476.00
- Estimated Gross Wages Per Week: $2,470 for 36 hours
- Estimated Gross Wages Per Hour: $68.61
