Job Summary
Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.
Essential Functions
- Create and updates the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS. Covers daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing. Monitors employee call-in's.
- Responsible for all staffing changes to be placed in ANSOS. Ensure we are staffed to matrix.
- Makes phone calls to employees for staffing needs.
- Oversees the daily activities of the staffing office. Provides daily assignments to the staffing secretary.
- Enters exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.
- Assigns Contingent/Temp staff and Outside personnel to units as needed.
- Attends meetings, compiles data for reports, assists Nurse Leaders and Office Supervisor.
- Consistently adheres to Beaumont Customer Service Standard
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Years of relevant experience Staffing and scheduling experience Preferred
- Scheduling Experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system Preferred
