Who we are looking for:
This position will be responsible for ensuring all on-site and exception payments are processed according to Investor Guidelines. This position will also be responsible for monitoring all lockbox and automated payments processing as well as the flow of funds into our Payment Clearing Account
- Location: Onsite in Englewood, CO
- Compensation: $60-80k/yr
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff including team member training and coaching, annual reviews, and attendance monitoring
- Post payments, payoffs, and liquidations
- Prepare daily system balancing
- Research payment issues and respond accordingly
- Collaborate with other business units to streamline processes and work as a team to provide a better customer experience
- Complete special projects as assigned
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of experience working in a mortgage environment, preferably Mortgage Servicing, with a well-rounded mortgage servicing background is preferred
- Experience with MSP is required
- Minimum 2 years in a management role or supervisory role
- Ability to manage and motivate employees and encourage group participation as well as individual growth
- Make sound decisions based upon department procedures, company policies, knowledge, and experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while still being detailed and results oriented
- Ability to contribute to the department in line with the company’s vision and core values, driving frequent and continual organizational change and improvement
- Effective presentation, verbal, and written communicator
- Must be disciplined and well organized with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.) with an emphasis on Excel
