What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative/Teller Part-Time Bilingual position at Cornerstone Credit Union Career Center?
Position Purpose
Serves as a representative of Cornerstone Credit Union to assist our members with their financial needs. Responsible for delivering on the CCU Brand Promise by providing prompt, efficient and accurate member service in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, philosophies and policies.
Essential Functions:
- Independently maintain and balance assigned cash drawer.
- Perform routine member transactions accurately including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check disbursements, general ledger postings, dead end checks and general functions.
- Maintain over/short practice, cash drawer limits.
- Ability to handle problem resolutions using independent judgment to ensure member satisfaction, and to know when to transfer the member to an appropriate CCU employee for resolution.
- Cross selling services offered by CCU. Understand and cross-sell CCU technology (i.e. EARS, CCU website, CU Branch and CU Bill Pay)
- Comply with regulatory, compliance & CCU procedures for all interactions.
- Credit Union work hours are 8:45am-5:15pm, Monday -Friday, with rotating Saturdays from 8:45am-12:15pm once trained.
- This position is 20 hours per week. The person's days must be flexible.
