Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate strategies for young children.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Requirements
- Must have experience in childcare.
- Experience working with Infants children in an childcare setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Experience with special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing demeanor with the ability to connect with young children on their level.
