Infant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of our students, guiding them through their early learning experiences while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate strategies for young children.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.

Requirements

• Must have experience in childcare.
• Experience working with Infants children in an childcare setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Experience with special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing demeanor with the ability to connect with young children on their level.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
