What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver position at Cornerstone of Jacksonville?
POSITION AVAILABLE: School Bus Driver
START DATE: Immediately (2024-2025 School Year)
SCHEDULE: Minimum of 4 1/2 hours per day, five days per week.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: As a Bus Driver, your major responsibilities will be to:
- Safely transports students
- Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
- Assists students in the loading and unloading process
COMPENSATION:
- Pay is negotiable starting at $25.00, per hour.
- Signing Bonus of $1,000.00 after 90 days.
- Annual Safety Bonus of $1,200.00.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have good verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years (with proper endorsements)
- Must be able to pass a level II background check, drug test and DOT health physical
- Must have your P, S, and Air Break Endorsements (Class B Driver License)
- Must have a clean driving record. (No violates for the past 3 years)
- Must have two or more years experience as a school bus driver.
