Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across the property
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security concerns
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR
- Enforce security policies by checking credentials and monitoring access points
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports for future reference
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activity and preventing theft or vandalism
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
- Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring procedures
- Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm and professional demeanor during stressful situations
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or security breaches
