Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Quality Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.

Description:
- Performs inspections (First Articles, In-Process).
- Performs in-process inspection on components and equipment, undergoing inspection, repair and overhaul.
- Maintains all corresponding documentation related to product quality.
- Prepares reports and quality records in compliance with procedures and instructions.
- Coordinate sareas of QA work with other department's work, i.e., start-up, engineering, process, etc.
- Performs additional assignments and/or quality functions, as directed by the Quality Officer.
- Must have good attendance. Must be able to work a 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day from 7:00am to 3:30pm or time approved by the Manager. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Operates and program the AOI machine in compliance with work instructions.
- Performs regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Computer skills for learning and operating machinery software required.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, drawings, schematic diagrams, bills of material and product specifications to determine assembly method, material necessary and subassembly to be processed.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses mechanical issues, providing timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conducts inspections on equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Inspects PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) to detect inaccuracies, defects and process problems.
- Collaborates with other technicians and departments to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Follows safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
- Communicates with supervisors and engineers regarding changes from specification, machine malfunctions or needs for equipment maintenance.
Education: High school diploma and/or GED.
Knowledge: Equipment Operator of manufacturing equipment, or aptitude for learning. Computer skills. Familiarity with quality control methods, principles, and practices, including sampling techniques. Strong working knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with ESD, IPC-A-610 and J-STD standards, procedures and applicable codes.
Fluent in English.
Abilities: Written and oral communications in English. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Skills: Excellent communication/Organizational Skills: Effective interpersonal relationships, Interpreting and applying product specifications, and technical data. Develop logical and documented recommendations: Use of measuring instruments: Team player, Quality minded, Organized, Self-motivated, Legible handwriting, and math skills.
General Work Activities: Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Quality Operator will support the quality management system, specifically in the areas of product verification. This includes managing quality records and documentation, performing product and process audits.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
