The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace.

Role Responsibilities:
- Have direct oversite of vendor partnerships and day-to-day service issues/escalations of Corning’s Health and Welfare benefits
- Serve as liaison between vendor partners and Benefits TPA to resolve member escalations
- Provide recommendations for benefit program changes based on the employee risk profile, business needs and market practice.
- Contribute towards design / revision of current programs and lead/participate in the implementation of new initiatives.
- Assess the effectiveness of the current program against the overall C&B strategy.
- Provide management information to senior stakeholders on the utilization, impact, and outcomes of C&B programs
- Have direct oversite/preparation of annual audits and required testing (i.e., 5500’s, VEBAs, non-discrimination testing, audits)
- Oversite for Corning’s data warehouse and track market intelligence/trends, conducting in-depth analysis to generate trends and recommendations.
- Work with benefit partners to develop member communications to drive awareness of benefit programs/offering.
- Maintain accurate and current SBCs and SPDs of appropriate health and welfare benefits.
- Interfaces directly with Managers, Human Resource Business Partners, Health Services, and Corporate Legal regarding problems, solutions, and clarifications of ongoing benefits administration, as necessary.
- Remain knowledgeable and current on industry trends and ACA regulatory changes.
- Maintain general knowledge pertaining to all ERISA compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with compliance specialists to review and prepare documents, policies, and administrative practices to ensure compliance with HIPAA.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as directed.
Education/Qualifications:
- Business degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fields.
- 5-7 years work experience (corporate or business environment)

- Proven relationship management skills - must gain cooperation and acceptance/approval in resolving problems, and/or negotiating with other stakeholders to arrive at an agreement • Strong writing and presentation skills for a variety of audiences
- Ability to synthesize a variety of data to produce a cohesive and well-documented product
- Proven knowledge of project management principles and approach
- Demonstrated ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses and to communicate these to a variety of audiences
