Electro Mechanic Technician
Job Summary
Maintenance Shift Technician is responsible for support in corrective maintenance (CM), preventive maintenance (PM) and Kaizen activities to ensure the reliability of the equipment, focused to achieve the production targets and deliver a quality product. Always working efficiently following the safety requirements to achieve down time and failure reduction targets, analyzing failures, and implementing solutions. Participate in new equipment installation, troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, etc.) equipment causes of downtime.
Essential Functions
- Responsible to follow and ensure others to follow the safety policies
- Responsible to ensure equipment runs effectively
- Preventive and corrective maintenance executions
- Kaizen activities
- Responsible to fix and solve machine failures
- Responsible for all plant machines and systems (blending, packaging and utilities)
- Responsible to develop machine operation skills
- Develop root cause analysis to identify and solve potential and recurrent problems
- Responsible to keep the machine in good conditions to ensure a quality product.
- Communicate and notify any equipment abnormalities, following the 5 maintenance basics. (5s, leaks, lubrication, routing and re-tight)
- Responsible to innovate process, routines, and plant systems
- Assist in the installation and removal of equipment, help determine changes needed in equipment driven by production.
- Basic building maintenance experience including plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, and basic building upkeep.
- Offer technical support to Engineering and Production about equipment maintenance, process improvement, and overall manufacturing excellence.
- Maintain records and prepare necessary reports.
- Follow plant good manufacture practices (GMPs)
- Minimum Required:
- Technical career, electromechanical, mechatronics.
- 5 years of Machines and maintenance experience.
- Preferred:
- Maintenance Certificate

- Competencies
- Manufacturing and process, bakery, or food industry. More than one area is preferred.
- Proven experience as Machine Operator Lead.
