Job Summary:

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and ensure a safe, sanitary, and organized environment within our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and maintaining restrooms. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors on a daily basis.
• Dust and clean surfaces, including desks, windows, and fixtures.
• Remove trash and recycling materials and ensure proper disposal.
• Restock supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as needed.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs or reporting issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed, such as proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies or spills.
• Maintain a clean and organized janitorial supply room.
• Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled.

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe usage practices.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for long periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Schedule may include evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
