This role is for a rotating schedule of Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00am to 6:00pm position, 2 shift per week.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on pediatric and psychiatric care to join our team. This role prefers a minimum of one year of recent RN experience, with a preference for those with pediatrics (12 years and up) and clinic or emergency room experience. The ideal candidate will be adept in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and be willing to work in a role that involves significant psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric and psychiatric patients in a clinical setting.
- Utilize EHR systems effectively to document patient information and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex patient situations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of one year of recent RN experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Willingness to work in a role with significant psychiatric care responsibilities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pediatrics and/or psychiatric nursing.
- Background in clinic, urgent care or emergency room settings.
- Experience with pediatric and psychiatric EHR documentation.
- Advanced certifications in pediatric or psychiatric nursing (e.g., CPN, PMHNP).

Compensation:
- Hourly Equivalent: $53-62
