What are the responsibilities and job description for the Working Student - Audio Software & Hardware Testing position at CORSAIR?
Your Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain Tests: Write, update, and maintain test cases.
- Execute & Analyze: Perform explorative testing, execute test cases, identify, document, and track bugs and issues, collaborating with the development team to resolve them.
- Collaborate: Work closely with our software developers and testers to understand new features and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Documentation: Help document test cases, processes, and results clearly and concisely.
Your Profile
- Current Student: Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Curiosity: A strong interest in software and hardware quality, ideally with a passion for PC audio systems, digital audio workstations, or audio interfaces.
- Analytical Mindset: You are a natural problem-solver with strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.
- Team Player: You have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
- Language: German (fluent), Proficient in English (our team's working language).
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with a Test Case Management system.
- Experience with the Atlassian tool chain, especially Jira and Confluence.
- Previous exposure to software testing concepts or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in Test Automation
