About the job:

The Cortavo Channel Sales Executive will develop and execute strategic alliances with industry partners. They will interact directly with partners through virtual and face-to-face meetings and networking events to generate opportunities to sell Cortavo managed services offerings.

The ideal candidate must have a passion for sales and a track record generating leads from partners and event opportunities.  This is a position for an experienced, hands-on, and results oriented channel sales executive.  

This role reports directly to the Cortavo Sales Director.

Channel Sales
  • Identify, select and engage potential industry partners
  • Facilitate the referral program in order to drive leads from partners and strengthen partner company relationships
  • Manage, build, and maintain existing partner company relationships to assist in selling Cortavo offerings into their client base
  • Provide consistent feedback on outreach efforts and partner sales metrics
  • Represent Cortavo at industry events and individual or group speaking opportunities

Partner Company Acquisition
  • Close and grow sales through professional communication with potential partners
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating our offering effectively
  • Research contacts and accounts for firmographic data and collaborate with marketing on pertinent target messaging
  • Deliver solution presentations to decision makers and prospective partners
  • Progress potential partners to referral program members with steady lead contribution
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing and marketing strategies

Partner Account Management
  • Identify and ensure resolution of partner concerns
  • Coordinate Company staff to provide exemplary service to partners and their customers
  • Responsible for tracking daily activities, follow-up steps, status of partner accounts, leads and opportunities using Salesforce

Strategy and Collaboration
  • Research, analyze, and understand our target market, prospect partners and customers, as well as our competitors
  • Work with enablement and marketing teams to create new channel resources
  • Work cross-functionally to support sales and marketing stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years of sales experience with minimum 2 years of channel sales experience 
  • Track record of lead generation from industry partners or customer referrals
  • Experience with all tools within the Company tech stack
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
  • Experience generating leads from event opportunities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in the field 50% of the time
