Job Summary
The District Dental Director will oversee the performance and management of dental teams across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role requires a strong leader who can drive clinical excellence, improve patient satisfaction, and promote operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to doctors and office staff to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to government and state dental board rules, regulations, including CMS, HIPPA, and OSHA requirements.
- Clinical Governance: Promote diagnostic and preventative ADA and AAPD Guidelines, Caries Risk Assessment, and other industry best practices to maintain clinical excellence.
- Patient Experience: Work closely with offices to ensure programs are effectively managed, staff is fully trained, SMART plans are developed and executed, and customer service standards are met.
Requirements
- Education/Experience: A DDS/DMD degree from a Commission on Dental Accreditation-accredited program, with 5 years of management experience in a multi-site dental environment.
- Licensure: Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where patient care is provided, or willingness to obtain licensure.
- Certifications: CPR, DEA, and other required certifications.
