This is a seasonal position located on-site at our Lodi Facility.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including quantities, locations, and item details.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure the availability of essential items to support production and operations.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize FIIX software to track inventory movements, issue purchase orders, and manage stock levels.
- Input data into FIIX, including item descriptions, quantities, and reorder points.
- Generate reports and analytics within FIIX to support inventory decision-making.
- Oversee the receiving process for new inventory items.
- Inspect incoming items for quality and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies or issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Implement inventory control best practices to reduce carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and plan for demand fluctuations.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend action plans.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory documentation, including records of purchases, returns, and adjustments.
- Generate and share regular reports on inventory performance and trends.
- Issue parts for WO and return to stock any unused items, order restock to inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control or related field preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and 3PL providers
