What are the responsibilities and job description for the Missile Design Intern position at Corvid Technologies LLC?
Corvid Technologies is seeking qualified candidates for missile design internships working with our Hypersonic Programs Group (HPG) in our Huntsville, Alabama office. The HPG supports a variety of government (Missile Defense Agency, Army, and Navy Missile Defense) programs through design, modeling and simulation, testing, and system analysis related to both defensive and offensive hypersonic missile systems. Corvid's HPG design group utilizes SolidWorks as their primary design tool for the design of missile systems, ground support equipment, manufacturing tooling, and ground test fixtures.
Example Responsibilities :
- Design of Hypersonic Boost Glide systems
- Development of high temperature test rigs
- Fabrication of flight systems using ultra-high temperature composites and refractory metallics
