We have an immediate opening in our Solon, OH plant for a qualified Industrial Preventative Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will requires all around maintenance skills: general plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance. Bonus skills would be metal fabrication, concrete experience, roofing or HVAC.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Industrial professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and schematics, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Main Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, including lubricating, cleaning, inspecting and testing systems, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Perform building and facility maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent on tasks.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including experience with electrical and mechanical systems, preferably in a plastics manufacturing environment.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings (hydraulics a plus).
• Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently or as a team to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Welding and fabrication ability is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• A strong commitment to safety and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.

• Must have personal mobile toolbox with a complete set of standard hand tools.

Full-time 1st shift, M-F

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
