Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing/Production
Company: Cosset Bath and Body is a small business in RETAIL_CONSUMER_PRODUCTS in Salt Lake City, UT 84119. We are collaborative and creative. Cosset's purpose is to relieve life's stress through therapeutic experiences.
SUMMARY: In this role, team members will complete daily operations/maintenance needs on the plant floor with a focus on meeting or exceeding safety, quality, and quantity metrics in the production environment. The team member will be required to comply with current GMP standards, and read, understand, and follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- PM's of Hydraulic Presses
- PM's of Tape Machines
- PM's of Over Wrapper Machines
- PM's of Mixers
- Driving & Maintaining company forklifts & pallet jacks
- Driving & Maintaining company vehicles
- Prepping new displays for shipping
- Assisting in new display sets
- Assisting in repairing damaged displays
- Completing work orders
- Parking lot clean up and striping.
- Exterior paint of building and handrails.
- Assisting with snow removal.
- Changing light bulbs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to work in a safe work environment
- Must be able to help create a safe work environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to complete tasks in a efficient and timely manner
- Must be 18 years old.
- Prior experience or training required is a plus.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work with evolving priorities and processes.
- Must be able to work independently and productively.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- General hand & power tool knowledge.
- Drivers license
- Forklift experience & certification
- Prior experience in construction/maintenance/mechanical. (preferred)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 10 hours
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to work with hands for 10 hours
- Must be able to communicate - verbal & written

- Must pass DOT Physical
- Must pass Drug Screen
- Must pass Background check

Schedule:
- 11 hour shifts
- Shift schedules:
- Monday through Wednesday 6am to 5:30pm & Thursday 6am to 12pm
- Wednesday through Friday 6am to 5:30pm & Saturday 6am to 12pm
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Holiday Schedule varies (Oct. to Mar.)
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
