Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all employees and potential candidates by answering requests and questions.
- Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes.
- Create employee communications including emails, flyers, updates people’s TV and other in English/ Spanish/ Creole including translation of documents to Creole.
- Recruitment/ New Hire Process
- Participate in recruitment and interview process.
- Assist in the completion of new employee applications and new hire forms.
- Assists in providing new hire orientations including overview of HR, Benefits and Safety.
- Employee Data Management and upload documents in UKG Pro (Formerly UltiPro.)
- Follow all policies and procedures for New hire entry and onboarding
- Process all employee data changes in a timely manner following all procedures.
- Process terminations and termination payments accurately and timely.
- Maintains team member trust and maintains all information confidential.
- Complies with all internal controls policies related to payroll, benefits and employee data.
- Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2-4 years administrative experience, employee data systems plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate clearly, both written and orally in English, Spanish and Creole, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings
• Ability to translate conversations or documents from English/Spanish to Creole.
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
• Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
• Advanced computer skills; proficient MS Office
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently - Bilingual- English or Spanish and Creole are required.
