SUMMARY
The AP AR Clerk will assist with the day-to-day functions of the accounting department, with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Payables. This individual will report to the Associate Controller. This role will require strong data entry skills and have basic accounting skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coding and entering Accounts Receivable Cash Receipts
- Provide support to Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist during Month end and coverage for time-off
- Entering Accounts Payable invoices
- Reviewing and processing expense reports in Center App
- Provide support to Accounts Payable Team as needed and coverage for time-off
- Scan and save digital documents
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent attention to accuracy
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Knowledgeable with accounting software
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Organized, dependable, and detail oriented
- Accountable for complete success in this role
- Fast Learner
