What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anatomic Pathology Technician position at Cottage Health?

DESCRIPTION

Works with the Histotechnicians and Cytotechnologists in the preparation and processing of specimens for evaluation by the Cytotechnologists and Pathologists. May be required to perform grossing on a specified list of tissue types. Performs various equipment maintenance, supply inventory and quality control functions

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred: Pathology, surgical, morgue or laboratory experience

Salary : $24 - $37
