Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Account Manager located in Orchard Park, NY. The Pharmacy Account Manager will be responsible for managing patient accounts, coordinating with insurance companies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Daily tasks include interacting with insurance companies, patients, providers and internal teams ensuring patient needs are met efficiently while strengthening relationship with referral partners.
Qualifications
- Experience with Insurance Reimbursement
- Strong understanding of pharmacy claims processing and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage patient accounts and interact with healthcare providers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience as a pharmacy technician, insurance company claims processor or related position is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Ability to work on-site in Orchard Park, NY
