We have an opening in our Tulsa office. The role of a Van Driver requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Current valid Oklahoma Operators Driver's License with at least 4 years as a licensed driver and a good driving record acceptable to the insurance company insuring the agency vehicles.
The starting hourly rate for a Van Driver is $15.00 hourly.

Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma provides mental health and substance abuse treatment, physical health care management and wellness services for over 5,000 children and adults annually. We are Oklahoma's only community mental health center certified in the Sanctuary model of care. Using this model, the agency provides trauma-informed care helping to create an environment of safety, identify and manage emotions, process loss and help clients create a future of growth and change. Due to tremendous growth, we are hiring a Van Driver at our Tulsa location. As a member of our CRS team, you will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for our patients by delivering one-on-one clinical guidance and support.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to establish working relationships with clinical, administrative, and support staff in order to develop professionalism and coordination within the team.
- Able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with fellow employees, consumers and the public.
- Ability to communicate clearly to interact with staff, clients, administration, and the community both in person and on the telephone.
- Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality guidelines for interactions regarding consumer information.
Example of Position Responsibilities:
- Pick up members in morning on assigned route at such time as assigned by the Supervisor or designee.
- Deliver members home in the afternoon at such time as assigned by the Supervisor or designee.
- Drive on therapeutic outings as assigned by the Supervisor or designee.
- Maintain sufficient levels of fuel in the vans for the day's activities. Additional trips for fuel will be done as necessary.
- At all times operate the vans in a safe and prudent manner, observing all laws associated with operating a motor vehicle in order to ensure the safety and protection of the passengers and the vans.
- Complete all paperwork associated with the vans, including the mileage log in an accurate and timely manner.
- In coordination with the PPD, delivery of the vans to locations for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, upkeep and repair.
- Supports and promotes a service environment for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, lifting 25 pounds, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs. Must be able to climb stairs and access non-handicapped equipped residences/facilities.
