What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Opening: Assistant Daycare Teacher position at COUNTRYSIDE DAYCARE & PRESCHOOL?
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact and encourage children in activities during the day.
- Provide nurturing care while helping them develop independent skills.
- Help children learn appropriate social skills.
- Assist the Lead Teacher with planning activities for the children.
- Assist in the maintenance of the classroom as a clean, organized, and safe place for the children to spend time.
- Must comply with state regulations as well as with Program Policies of Countryside Daycare and Preschool.
Teacher Requirements:
- Classroom experience in working with children is required.
- Dependability and commitment.
- Flexibility
Must Provide the following documents prior to commencing employment:
- PA DHS Child Abuse Clearance (within the last four years)
- PA State Police Clearance (within the last four years)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (within the last four years)
- Two Reference Letters (indicating the number of hours working directly with children)
- Mandated Reporter Child Abuse Online Training (within the last four years)
- Mandated 10 Hours Health and Safety Training through Better Kid Care.
- First Aid and Pediatric CPR training (within the last year)
Time Commitment:
4 - 6 hours per day (part-time) or 8 hours per day (full-time)

Since 1993, Countryside Preschool and Child Care Center Inc. has been a well-respected daycare in the community. When the owner made the decision to retire, we could not bear the thought of the facility closing down, so Countryside Daycare and Preschool LLC was formed in its place.
