What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Kennel Assistant position at Countryside Veterinary Services?
Countryside Veterinary Services is seeking a social, hardworking, motivated, and multitasking employee. We are a multi-doctor veterinary clinic located in Louisville, TN. Kennel duties include but not limited to:
-Maintain the cleanliness of our hospital (includes kennels, runs, treatment area, outside,etc)
-Walking animals
-Feeding the hospitalized/ boarding patients
-Grooming
-Maintain laundry throughout the day
-Help with drop offs/ pick ups
-Communicate with clients
-Knowledge of all of patient’s belongings
-Treat clients and pets with compassion and respect
-Must be able to stand for long periods
-Must be able to lift dogs/cats
