Responsibilities:
- Order and maintain all meat department product.
- Read Cutting Lists
- Cut All Primal Meats to Specific Techniques
- Grind Meats
- Understand Gross Profits and Inventories
- Receive fresh deliveries
- Maintain Meat Cases / Stock Meat / Rotate Product
- Assist customers with requests and information
- Know quality and code dating standards
- Follow all store and department policies and procedures
Key Attributes:
- Must have Journeyman Meat Cutting Skills
- Customer minded
- Energy Level
- Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently
Compensation: BOE. FT, Hourly position with benefits that include annual wage reviews, medical, dental, prescription and life insurance, paid holidays, vacations. We are an Associate owned company with a retirement plan that includes an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Profit Sharing and 401K
