What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Supervisor (Facilities) position at County of Merrimack?
The Plumbing Supervisor supervises, trains and evaluates the work of journeymen and facilities workers in all phases of plumbing, the water end of refrigeration and air conditioning and maintenance. Performs all facets of the plumber role as well administratively creates parts lists for projects and makes purchases utilizing computer software for tracking and ordering.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience as a journeyman plumber, with two years of supervisory experience or any combination of education and work experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Licensed as a Master Plumber and Gas Fitter by the Plumbers' Licensing Board of the State of NH. Possession of a current New Hampshire Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter (LPG). Possession of a NH State Gas Fitters License with Service and Oil burner endorsement and possession of or the ability to obtain an Oil Heating Technician Certificate. Valid State of New Hampshire driver's license required.A drug screen & criminal background check will be required of all conditional hires.
