GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Information Technology Managers, this individual must have a solid understanding of computer science concepts, hardware and software trouble shooting. Installs and maintains ongoing support of computers in Monroe County and contracted local units of government. Participates in identifying and correcting daily operational issues relating to local computers and their connectivity to the network.
Education: Working toward a degree from an accredited institution in business, computer science, information technology, or closely related field.
Experience: Experience or coursework with Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, or 2016, Active Directory, DNS, TCPIP, Windows 7 and 10. Computer experience working on hardware and software issues preferred.
