What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor II position at County of Nevada?

The Nevada County Behavioral Health Department is looking for a Clinical Supervisor capable of supporting our Adult Behavioral Health Forensic & SUD Team. Duties and programs supported by this division include:
- Overseeing the Adult Behavioral Health specialty court processes, outpatient therapy, and coordination of case management and medication management for Nevada County residents who have a serious mental illness.
- Providing clinical supervision to interns and practicum students who are accruing hours towards licensure.
- Providing clinical guidance and training for the therapists and/or substance use disorder counselors providing mental health or SUD services to ensure that clients are receiving evidence-based treatment and interventions in line with their stated goals and treatment plan.
- Ensuring that documentation and authorizations for services are in compliance with federal, state, and county regulations.
- Assessment, consultation, coordination, and communication with multiple agencies and community partners.
