RTA is looking for an A, B, or C level mechanic with experience in that would perform specific inspections and make related repairs to the RTA light, medium, and heavy-duty fleet. After one year, you’ll know you were successful if:
• You have received a safety award and incentive to continue to complete your job safely and each year thereafter.
• You possibly receive recognition/nomination for our Employee of the Quarter or Outstanding Achievement Awards. At time of applying, we require that you have a good driving record, valid California Driver’s license and to be able to maintain a clear DOT drug screening. You will have to apply proper safety procedures, which are trained, and be able to read, understand, and interpret transit system operating rules, regulations, and policies.
