About the Role
San Mateo County Health is seeking an experienced Supervising Physician to lead the Daly City Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive primary care services to nearly 7,000 patients. This clinic offers adult, pediatric, podiatry, and dental care, with integrated behavioral health, social work, and pharmacist support. The Supervising Physician will work alongside a highly skilled team to ensure patient-centered and data-driven healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 50% direct patient care and 50% leadership & supervision
- Oversee adult, pediatric, podiatry, and dental care services
- Lead a multidisciplinary team including RNs, behavioral health professionals, and social workers
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Mentor and supervise licensed medical staff
Ideal Candidate
- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience and 6 months in a supervisory/lead role
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills
