Sewer/Water Project Manager: Join the County of Santa Cruz's Community Development and Infrastructure Department as a Project Manager in a newly created position focused on sewer and water infrastructure projects. You’ll play a key role in project funding, scoping, environmental permitting, easement acquisition, bidding, and project closeout, making sure milestone deadlines are met and quality projects are constructed. As the County expands procurement methods to include Job Order Contracting, you’ll aid in developing project catalogs for underground construction. This is an exciting opportunity to revitalize the county's underground infrastructure, protecting the health and safety of the community.
Project Manager - Vertical Construction: Explore new horizons with the County of Santa Cruz as a Project Manager, contributing to vertical construction utilizing varied project delivery models. With two openings available, this role involves developing project scope, hiring design teams, leading the public bid process, leading the entitlement process, managing schedules and contractors, and reporting on grants.
