What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Office Assistant position at County Welding LLC?

County Welding, LLC, a certified welding company in MD, seeking an office assistant to join our team at our main office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answering and monitoring incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Supporting the office personnel with daily administrative functions.
  • Provides support with filing, labels, and creates new files when needed.
  • Tracks inventory and ordering of project materials.
  • Performs sanitation protocol on all surfaces in accordance with our policies.
  • Schedules and arranging meetings.
  • Assisting in marketing.
  • Create, update, and maintain reports
  • Document Control (Scanning/Uploading documents)
  • Assist with minor purchasing (process invoices, cost comparisons)
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • General Office Management
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
  • All other administrative functions as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Prior construction experience is a plus as well as an understanding of the project management principles
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or some college required

Experience:

Similar work experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
