Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Health and Wellness at our Clinton , NJ location. The Director will oversee all aspects of health and wellness programming within the community, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and delivering exceptional care to residents. Responsibilities include coordinating health policies, managing wellness initiatives, supervising staff, developing strategic plans, and collaborating with other departments to support residents' overall well-being. The role also involves conducting health assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards of health services.
Qualifications
Holds a current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in this state.
It is preferred that the Health and Wellness Director have advanced education in nursing management administration, geriatric nursing and rehabilitation.
It is required that the Healthcare Director received a nursing degree from an accredited nursing program, college or university.
It is required that the Health and Wellness Director hold a current CPR certification.
- It is required that the Health and Wellness Director have three years of experience in an assisted living community, with a proven success in a Director of Nursing/supervisory position, competence in meeting performance standards related, with at least two years of experience implementing total resident care and care planning.
- It is preferred that the Health and Wellness Director have two years of experience supervising others in an assisted living community.
