What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS Cleaning Technician position at Cousino Restoration Environmental?
We are currently hiring EVS Cleaning Technician to clean patient and surgical rooms in Sandusky, OH. This position is M-F night shift 9pm to 5am $17.00 per hour to start based on exp. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of facility, sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting all areas of the hospital and surgical rooms.
- Disinfects and wipes down all beds, mattresses, furniture, and makes beds after dismissal of patients.
- Wipes down, ceiling, woodwork, door panels and windowsills.
- Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Dusts lights and televisions.
- Keeps housekeeping closet in clean and orderly condition.
- Replaces soiled cubicle curtains.
- Sweeps, mops floors and vacuums carpets.
- Cleans patient and public restrooms.
- Cleans elevators including polishing metal.
- Uses only disinfectants and cleaners provided by the Hospital.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Able to work with a team or independently
- Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Successfully complete a background check
Physical Requirements:
- Sustained periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling or climbing
- Frequent lifting of 5-20 pounds, unassisted
