JOB SUMMARY
The Clinician for the Adult Psych Program manages a caseload of patients with psychiatric diagnoses and their families as part of an interdisciplinary team; contributes to the overall program by facilitating individual, group, and family meetings; leads groups; makes managed care calls; and establishes patient/discharge planning
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- A Master's degree in Social Work required
- Valid State of Maine LMSW, LCSW, LCPC licenses required
- BLS certification required
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience required
- Ability to facilitate group and individual sessions in Mental Health using CBT principles
- Comfort with public speaking and education
- Experience with EMR/Computer systems
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong commitment to teamwork
- Organized and pays close attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to promote positivity
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
