Position Summary
Responsibilities include: Operate MRI scanner which produces several cross-sectional scans and combines them into one to form a 3 -dimensional image for Radiologists viewing. Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation. General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function. Responsible for maintaining safety for anyone within the MRI zones. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and hospital records. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
Ability to utilize specialized computerized equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid Radiologists in diagnosing diseases and/or disorders.
Position Requirements
Active Status on State of Maine Radiography Registry
ARRT Certified
Two Year College (Associates Degree)
