Job Summary
Catering Associate Supervisor Essential Functions
- Directs assembly and delivery of patient meals, supervises catering associates (patient service staff), and ensures patient diet accuracy
- Maintains patient service records, Kardex, and allergy reports
- Calculates patient census and distributes updated information to kitchen and patient service staff
- Communicates with patients and nursing staff to ensure customer satisfaction goals
AM/PM Supervisor Essential Functions
- Oversees daily duties of all staff, and in all areas of the operation, including patient services, retail, and catering
- Makes schedule adjustments to ensure proper staffing levels
- Maintains high level of sanitation, and prepares daily records and logs
- Ensures quality customer service, and provides point of contact and support in the absence of general manager
- Diet Tech/CDM/Nutritional background preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents, to write routine correspondence and reports, and to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers/decimals/fractions.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of associates or customers in the organization
- Basic computer skills, including proficient use of email, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Other General Responsibilities
Comply with all company, TJC, local, state, and federal regulations. Adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies. Ensure staff assists in achieving stated patient and customer satisfaction goals. Communicate effectively with all team members, and assist in evaluating staff performance. Participate and attend departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs as appropriate. Project and practice consistent ownership attributes, which provide high level of customer service at all points of contact. Perform other tasks that may be assigned.
