What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Lead position at Covenant Woods?
Covenant Woods located in Hanover County off of Mechanicsville Turnpike, is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Services Lead with the ability to clean all areas to include cottages, apartments, assisted living areas and nursing units to the highest standards with minimal supervision. Must have experience supervising other team members and previous housekeeping experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
Shift: 40 Hours weekly including availability on weekends
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be knowledgeable of housekeeping methods and the use and care of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Knowledgeable in the use of floor cleaning equipment, washing and drying machines desired.
- One year of housekeeping experience preferred.
- Work requires standing and walking for most or all of the workday.
- Use of the hands is required for at least half of a day.
- Stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching are required frequently.
- Must be able to lift and carry an average of 10 pounds up to maximum of 20 pounds; push or pull an average of 15 pounds up to a maximum of 30 pounds.
