Department Requirements :

At least 1 year of Emergency nursing experience is necessary. (New graduate RNs or RNs without ED experience are encouraged to apply for a Residency or Fellowship program.)
Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.

Position Details : FTE : .9, Shift : 12-hour shifts

Incentives : MultiCare offers qualified external candidates a sign-on bonus of $20,000 for full-time positions (.75 or higher) and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities :

Organize patient care by efficiently prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating standards consistently.

Utilize your nursing education and experience to deliver patient care aligned with hospital policies and protocols.

Collaborate with the nursing team to enhance the overall quality of care, patient experience, and efficiency in costs.

Encourage a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other health care team members.

Advocate for holistic and ethical care, promoting patients' autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse backgrounds.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or must obtain within five years from the initial date of hire; RNs with 15 years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021, are eligible for consideration under specific agreements.

Advanced nursing degrees (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) are preferred.

Current Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement.

Current BLS Certification is crucial.

ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification is required as per the facility or department's needs.

Specialty certification is preferred.

One year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
