Part-time Grounds Maintenance Technician

The Grounds Maintenance Technician will be responsible for landscape upkeep in designated areas of Clarendon Farm that include mowing, weed eating, hedging and pruning, edging, picking up limbs and other debris, applying herbicide and fertilizer, assisting in planting Fall ryegrass, cleaning landscaping equipment and notifying supervisor of any mechanical issues. The position requires physical labor including climbing, sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 75 lbs. The work environment is outdoors in all weather conditions and may involve exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, and site-specific vegetation and native species. The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of landscaping experience, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's license. The role requires adherence to company policies, possible pre-employment and random drug testing, and a personal vehicle for travel from ranch to town.
