What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?
Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.
About the Electrical Co-Op Position
As a Co-Op at Colonial Pipeline, this opportunity allows you to combine your classroom knowledge with meaningful work experience. We offer opportunities across Corporate and Operations designed to complement your formal education with work experience directly related to your academic major. As an integral part of the overall education experience, the Co-Op program allows you to take on increasing levels of responsibility with each rotation.
What You Bring to the Table:
Majoring in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Ability to analyze process performance and develop goals to minimize process variances.
Strong mathematical skills to break down complex problems.
Technical aptitude with a hands-on mindset.
Ability to organize tasks and prioritize workload.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Software proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Flexibility to travel on occasion.
Have a good attitude about being part of a diversified, multi-cultural team environment.
