The CPM Wolverine Proctor Division has a unique opportunity for a Welder Fabricator in our capital equipment manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC. This is an opportunity to join a highly successful business with advancement opportunities. We are looking for a highly motivated detail-oriented person with strong welding and fabrication aptitude coupled with proficient organizational skills, and outstanding people skills.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to fit up and welding of CPM equipment and working closely with the Engineering Group and Product Managers.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding
- Fit up experience required
- Stainless steel welding experience required
- Ability to read and understand Work Instructions and Mechanical blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Experience operating overhead cranes
- Forklift experience
- Attentive to detail
