The Craftsbury Town School District is seeking a full-time music educator for Middle School and High School. This full-time position includes instrumental and choral instruction for middle and high school. The successful candidate will know Orff Pedagogy and the technical demands of common band instruments. The school is nestled in the hills of the Northeast Kingdom and provides easy access to outdoor adventures including the International Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Strong relationships and collaboration create a climate of student engagement that supports a positive school climate. Our schools are currently building a proficiency-based learning system at all levels and the arts are an important component of the program.

Craftsbury Academy has been in existence since 1832. The school has seen many changes and renovations over our almost 200-year history, but what has remained the same is our sense of community within the school and town. Craftsbury Schools serves around 200 students in grades PreK-12 on two campuses. This position will serve the upper campus.
