SUMMARY:
The Staff Accountant will be a key contributor in the month end close and reporting process by contributing to journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses and other KPIs.

The Staff Accountant will be a key contributor in the month end close and reporting process by contributing to journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses and other KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain AP inbox and provide timely and accurate responses to all inquiries across various departments
- Manage full AP cycle by reviewing and processing invoices while ensuring that invoices are coded with proper General Ledger Accounts for various departments in a timely manner
- Onboard and maintain all vendors and/or contractors into Accounting system
- Research and reconcile accounts and make debit/credit corrections as needed
- Assist in month end close processes by entering in journal entries and maintaining account reconciliations
- Assist with ad hoc requests including but not limited to providing documentation for internal and external audits
- Liaise with other departments and gather relevant accounting information and recommend process improvements
- Responsible for support requests for annual audit and tax returns
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance
- Strong previous experience in Accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of urgency and prioritization
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Public Accounting experience and/or CPA Degree preferred
- Previous experience in Netsuite and Tipalti preferred
- $60,000 - $65,000/annually
