HVAC Installer

POSITION SUMMARY

The HVAC/Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and functionality of our properties through skilled HVAC work and general maintenance. This role involves diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems, performing preventative maintenance, and addressing a variety of building repair needs. You’ll work closely with the property management and maintenance team to keep systems running efficiently and respond promptly to service requests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Install, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems in residential and multifamily properties.

· Perform mechanical work including welding, brazing, soldering, and boiler maintenance.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions efficiently.

· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.

· Perform general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) as needed.

· Respond to service requests, troubleshoot building systems, and document all work performed.

· Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards.

· Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions professionally.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience and Skills:

· Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.

· Proven experience in air conditioning installation and repair.

· Skilled in welding, brazing, and boiler work.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Field service or equipment repair experience is a plus.

· Working knowledge of workplace safety procedures and best practices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and confined spaces. Regular exposure to mechanical equipment and tools.
