What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Cook position at Creative Dining Services?

Are you ready to be part of a team that ensures every detail is taken care of to create an exceptional dining experience? Are you interested in serving our seniors and positively impacting their lives? Creative Dining is seeking an experienced Cook to join us at Royal Park Place Atrium in Zeeland, MI.
Schedule:
10:00 am to 6:30 pm. May include weekends.
Core Responsibilities:
- Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal
- Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
- Utilize safe food handling techniques at all times
- Maintain established logs (production, food temperatures, cooling temperatures, cooler & freezer temperatures, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Assist management personnel in ordering and inventory procedures
- Other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- ServSafe Certification preferred but not required
