What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Cashiers - Kraft cafeteria position at Creative Dining Services?
Multiple shifts available - morning, day, nights
Creative Dining Services is looking for Cashiers to join their team at the Kraft-Heinz dining center in Champaign, IL. The cashier itemizes guest purchases and processes transactions of cash, check, credit or debit in payment, greets guests as they enter or exit the dining area, and helps provide a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for workers from all over the Kraft campus.
Availability: weekdays, multiple shift schedules available!
First shift: 5:30am to 1:30pm
Second shift: 2:00pm to 7:30pm
Third shift/nights: 10:00pm to 4:00am
Core Responsibilities
- Follows all cash handling procedures, counts back correct change.
- Runs a register, other devices and Credit Card Machine accurately.
- Ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements during work shift.
- Assist in stocking, cleaning and other tasks to provide organized, welcoming service to guests.
- Communicates with our guests in a friendly manner.

The ideal candidate will have:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading and math skills
- Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
- Knowledge and ability to operate cash register and various payment forms
